You’re welcome to join us at the first of our Open Worship evenings of activities from 7-9 pm on Thursday 21 August. Feel free to stay for the whole event … or just drop in for a while.
The programme is as follows:
7.00-7.20: Silent meditation and Exposition of the Sacrament in the Lady Chapel.
7.20-7.40: Prayers and intercessions. Please consider what you’d like to pray for. (Don’t worry about praying aloud if you’re more comfortable doing so silently.)
7.40-8.00: Coffee.
8.00-8.40: Bible study on Israel, focusing on Romans 9-11 and especially on chapter 11, verses 13-18.
8.40-9.00: Compline.
If you have any questions about the evening, please contact our Priest-in-Charge, Rev Sydney Maitland.
• Open Worship is part of our Mission Action Planning, which involves every charge in the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway in discerning missional goals for the year ahead and reviewing them annually with the Bishop.
