Introduction

Rev Sydney Maitland
Easter greetings to everyone! I hope that the music, readings and message in this shared Ministry of the Word will have a feel of Sunday worship together at All Saints, even if we can’t be together in person or join in the Eucharist. We thank the many people who have contributed to the resources here. In turn I would ask you to share the page with colleagues, friends and loved ones who may be missing the beauty of worship and the nearness of God in these difficult times. On this special day, I have only one more announcement to make: Hallelujah – Christ is risen!

Collect for Easter Day
ALMIGHTY God, who through thine only-begotten Son Jesus Christ hast overcome death, and opened unto us the gate of everlasting life: We humbly beseech thee, that as by thy special grace preventing us thou dost put into our minds good desires, so by thy continual help we may bring the same to good effect; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

O God, whose will it is that all should find salvation and come to know the truth: receive the prayers and petitions which we offer in faith and love; through him who gave proof of your purpose, and who sacrificed himself to win freedom for all mankind, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
