“Professor John Curtice gave a masterly account at Diocesan Synod yesterday about public attitudes towards equal marriage in Scotland, drawing upon the evidence of polls and surveys conducted both within Scotland and across Great Britain as a whole.
“In response to Graeme Hely’s question about the availability of his presentation, he pointed us to his recent submission to the Scottish Parliament in advance of the Marriage and Civil Partnership Bill (Scotland).”

John Curtice is professor of politics at the University of Strathclyde and a member of St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, where he conducted last year a videoed question and answer session on attitudes to same-sex marriage. His submission to Parliament can be read or downloaded here:
