Marie-Laure Ross was blessed by our Priest, Rev Sydney Maitland, as a Pastoral Assistant able to administer the reserved Sacrament, during a beautiful Sunday Eucharist on 28th September, having completed her Diocesan training and received authorisation from Bishop Gregor.
The following week, Mary Reynolds, in a delightful Mothers’ Union gathering to raise funds for their work, made her a lovely presentation.
We greatly appreciate Marie-Laure’s gifts of quiet prayer and service among us, supported by Malcolm her husband. Both are musical – Malcolm is professional, and they love to relax by hill-walking.
She is French, a graduate from the École Polytechnique in Paris, and continues study in theology and spiritual development and takes time for renewal on retreat. She already volunteers as a visitor and understands medical care and support.
We keep her especially in our prayers as her ministry touches and blesses our All Saints worshipping family.
