The October edition of Inspires Online is now available, rounding up news and stories from across the Scottish Episcopal Church.
The edition features the remarkable work of Mustard Seed in Edinburgh during the pandemic, when the Rev Rich Cornfield and his team supported those in need with a huge expansion of their existing ‘Soul Food’ initiative. At one stage, the team was providing 600 meals per week during lockdown.
Inspires also features six ordinations; a round-up of media coverage including the Anglican Primates hitting the headlines, a BBC TV visit to Inverness Cathedral and Bishop Anne Dyer on Sky News; provincial worship highlights; Rev Maggie McTernan’s appearance at the Politics Explained conference; a national photo competition success; board and committee reports; a reflection on Reformation Day from the Rev Dr Michael Hull; plus news of forthcoming events.
And what links famous folk singer Joan Baez to the Scottish Episcopal Church? If you don’t know, you will have to read Inspires Online to find out. It’s available here.
