The Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway is no closer to having a new bishop. The Church’s Primus, Most Rev Mark Strange, wrote in an open letter to the Diocese on November 25:
My Dear Friends in Glasgow and Galloway
I know that many of you have been holding the College of Bishops in prayer as we continue on this discernment process for a new Bishop for you all.
This discernment has been at the forefront of the life and work of the College and we are simply asking for you to continue with your prayers.
Please be assured that I will let you all know as soon as I have anything to report.
Blessings
+Mark
The vacancy follows the retiral of Bishop Gregor Duncan in October 2018.
