A dedication service for the Memorial Garden of the former Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Knightswood will be held on February 8 at the Garden’s new location in the grounds of St Bride’s, Hyndland. All are invited.
The Diocese announced in April last year that the Garden would be moved, with proper reverence, following the deconsecration of Holy Cross, and today the following invitation was issued:
Requiem and Service of Dedication
The Most Revd Mark Strange, Primus and Interim Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway, extends to all, a warm invitation to the Dedication Service of the new Holy Cross Memorial Garden. This will take place on Saturday, 8 February 2020. The Garden is in the grounds of St Bride’s Scottish Episcopal Church, 69 Hyndland Road, Glasgow, G12 9UX.
A requiem will be celebrated at 11.00 am for all those whose remains are in the Holy Cross Memorial Garden and the Dedication Service will follow at 12.00 noon.
There will be a buffet lunch in the church hall immediately following the Service of Dedication to which all are welcome.
