Bishop Kevin Pearson’s farewell service following the announcement of his retirement as Bishop of Glasgow & Galloway will be held at St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow at 11am on Saturday 29 June, when he will celebrate 45 years of ordained public ministry.
It is hoped as many as possible will be able to join together as a diocese for the occasion, and requests for estimated numbers attending from charges will follow nearer the time for the purpose of catering planning.
Bishop Kevin announced in March that he will retire on 31 August this year.
