Hospices of Hope, the leading palliative care charity in South Eastern Europe, works with terminally ill children and adults in Romania and surrounding countries. On Saturday 16th March the Telemann Ensemble, directed by Leslie MacLeod, gave a concert for this charity at All Saints, Jordanhill. The programme included works by Bodin de Boismortier and Vivaldi and the singing of Bach’s Cantata Nr. 82 “Ich Habe Genug” by Baritone Phil Gault. Apart from the contribution to All Saints a sum of almost £300 was raised for the charity – a splendid result from a thoroughly enjoyable concert for a very worthwhile cause.
