Following the success of our Discipleship Explored course during Lent this year, All Saints will continue its Mission Action by running Christianity Explored during Advent 2015 and Lent 2016.
• A short interview with Rico Tice about Christianity Explored.
Christianity Explored is an informal seven-week course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. Looking at Mark’s gospel, it explores who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him. We’ll be holding the first three sessions before Christmas and the remaining four in the run-up to next Easter.
Sessions will take place following Sunday morning Eucharist. The timetable for 2015 is:
• Sundays November 8, 15 and 22
• Sunday November 29
Week 1: Good News – What are we doing here?
• Sunday December 6
Week 2: Identity – Who is Jesus?
• Sunday December 13
Week 3: Sin – Why did Jesus come?
The formula will be as for Discipleship Explored – an introductory video followed by discussion. Everyone taking part will be provided with a handbook.
We’re looking forward to the course helping to deepen our understanding of discipleship.
If you aren’t a member of All Saints you’re still very welcome to join us!
