A celebration service for the Rt Rev Kevin Pearson, Bishop of Glasgow & Galloway, was held on Saturday 29 June at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow.
Over 300 people filled the cathedral, coming together to honour Bishop Kevin as he prepares to retire later this summer, 44 years after he was ordained to the priesthood and four years after he was translated to Glasgow & Galloway from the Diocese of Argyll & The Isles.

The College of Bishops has confirmed that Bishop Andrew Swift will become Acting Bishop of the Diocese of Glasgow & Galloway when Bishop Kevin Pearson retires on 1 September. Bishop Andrew will continue as Bishop of Brechin during the Glasgow & Galloway vacancy.
